Labor Day Approaches – so does the Corn!
We are heading towards Labor Day this coming weekend and along with it the traditional end to New England Farming. Our Silver Queen Corn will be ready to pick this coming week and we hope to have it at both the Wolfeboro and Wakefield Markets. Come visit us at the Farmer’s Markets!

Saturday at the Wakefield Marketplace
We will be going to the Wakefield Marketplace on Saturday July 10th. See us there from 9am to about 1pm It is going to rain later in the afternoon so shop early! Green and Yellow beans are here.
Market Day!
It is Thursday, Jul 8th and we will be at the Wolfeboro Farmer’s Market today from 12:30 until 4:30pm. Come early! The good stuff goes fast. O ya, it’s still HOT!

Baby Sparrow about to leave the nest
On the Gate post leading into our lower garden is a bird house. We have Sparrows in there every year. This little guy was just about to fly off for the first time! It is so great to be out working on the farm and have this abundance of new life all around you!

Opening Day at the Wakefield Marketplace
Here we are at opening day for 2010 at the Wakefield Marketplace Farmers Market. Here we go for 2010! We had Kale, Heads of Lettuce, Cut Greens and fresh Herbs for the start of the season. Our challenge for next year will be to have more fresh veggies ready this early in the year.
